What's the 80:20 rule?

Ok, but how does that apply to Rob Bell? Is it something to do with the 20% off? I don't get the joke!
Is it a malapropism!?
One application of the Pareto principle is that 20% of something gets 80% of the attention. For example, Bell's trampoline metaphor (frequently misquoted and misunderstood) provokes a lot of discussion out of proportion to the balance of his contribution. It just tickled my sense of humour when I saw the ad - 20% off Rob Bell - that would virtually make him a fundamentalist and therefore much more acceptable! But now you made me explain it, the mystery has gone :)
