The Champions

In a week where the Blues lost to the journeymen Force, its good to have cultural heritage options when it comes to rugby! Doesn't give me any scholarship options mind you...What an amazing turnaround for the Welsh team after the World Cup - putting a Kiwi in charge seems to have worked for them (again). Also in late breaking news, Rhett Snell slips out of the top 500 in the Virtual Super 14 and is beaten soundly by yours truly in this week's picks. Head over to Rhett's blog today for the explanation...

I tok the opportunity to do a few calculations...

You beat me in this weeks Virtual Super 14 by 3 points. Congratulations. Richly deserved.

However, I still lead you by... oh... 71 points.

Let's assume I average a lowly 18 (like I did this week) every week from now until the end of the competition. With me getting 18 every week you would STILL have to beat me by 8 points EVERY SINGLE WEEK until the end of the competition to beat me by 1 point overall.

Let's just say that it is a) very unlikely I'll only average 18 points a week, b) very unlikely you will ever beat me by 8 points in a single week and finally c) very likely that you will feel the ownage from me by the end of the Super 14.

Booya.

It's great you have something in life that gives you such worth and helps you feel valuable, Rhett. It helps me to sleep at night and not worry about you ;)

I for one won't be trying to beat you. It hurts me to beat you. Truly. Its like: how would you feel, if one day, you woke up and there was no sun in the sky? No caffeine in coffee? You are the wind beneath my wings and I don't ever want to be winging it without your wind.

All is right in the world again...

Except you've made pawn videos of Frank and I?

You're doing well Rhett. Keep it up. It's good to see that someone actually cares about the game and it would be a shame if that person wasn't winning.

I'm happy for you :)

That was me... I just hit 'enter' a bit too early.

Why thank you Frank...

And BJ, 'PWNED' is geek-speak for 'Player-owned', and is usually used right after you shoot someone in a game like Halo.

It is sometimes followed by the word 'Noob', indicating a newbie player who you have just pwned.

Now you know.

I still don't think I want you pawning my noobies...

Not without my consent or at least a commitment to some royalties...
